About Andy

Andy Hauswirth is a well-known, professional musician who has been performing locally for 20+ years.  He has performed at 400+ weddings, as well as corporate events and private functions. He also performs regularly around the Twin Ports at some of Duluth’s most well known establishments such as the Pickwick, Grand Superior Lodge, Kitchi Gammi Club and Mr. D’s. In addition to his solo work, Andy plays weekly with the duo “John and Andy” and also currently performs in the band “South of Superior.”

In addition to performing, Andy has been teaching guitar for more than twenty years. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Superior and has a Bachelor degree in Elementary Education with a Music Minor. His natural talent, broad knowledge of music and exceptional teaching skills combine to make Andy an extremely effective instructor and performer.
